Situation Analysis
In conjunction with the relaunch of Famous Amos cookies, the brand wanted to honor it's founder, Wally Amos’ legacy through a program that celebrates and supports Black entrepreneurs.
In addition to the historic challenges and barriers experienced by Black-owned small businesses, the pandemic has contributed further burdens, pushing 41 percent of Black-owned U.S. businesses into closure from February to April 2020, the largest closure rate of any racial group. .
